Tipiṭaka Documentary
First streaming online : July 1, 2007
From Siam-Script Pāḷi Tipiṭaka to Roman-Script World Tipiṭaka
A Gift of Dhamma and Peace to the World
The Tipiṭaka Dedication Vow
“...We are gathering here to inaugurate the presentation of the World Tipiṭaka in Roman script in the Western countries, starting with the Kingdom of Sweden, for the benefit and happiness of humanity.
May we all, in homage, hold this Pāḷi Tipiṭaka --the manifestation of the Buddha Himself, to cherish the 84,000 Teachings of the Dhamma that came from His Words, His Wisdom from the Enlightenment, His Purity as well as His Kindness to all humanity by teaching the Dhamma during the forty-five years of his lifetime...
May we be protected and may we attain the Nibbāna, the supreme Wisdom and the tranquil Happiness in the near future.”
The Dhamma Society's Tipiṭaka Patrons
